This item collects the information regarding the Varese Sports Association 1910 In the official competitions of the season 2013-2014 .

Nicola Laurenza, new patron del Varese 1910.

At the end of the 2012-2013 season, the patron Antonio Rosati leaves Varese to support Enrico Preziosi at the helm of Genoa, yielding the majority shares of the Varese company to Nicola Laurenza, owner of the “gold in euro” company, already main sponsor in the seasons precedents, which directly takes control of the club. A minority share is instead detected by the CEO Enzo Montemurro (10%), while 3.5% remain to the two Neapolitan Shareholders Fabbozzi and Vitiello, already taken over in 2013 [2] . New coach is Stefano Sottili, former Venice coach [3] . Already at the end of June, the necessary documents for the registration of the team to the Serie B championship 2013-2014, the twenty-fourth of its history are filed. [4] .

On November 26, after fifteen days and with a score of five wins, five draws and five defeats, thin and all his staff are raised by the team’s technical guide [5] . Carmine Gautieri arrives in their place, which is in turn exonerated on March 15, after the internal defeat with Padua (with subsequent reinstatement of subtle and related staff) [6] . Also on March 15, the company raises from the position of sports director Mauro Milanese [7] , replacing him with Gabriele Ambrosetti the following month [8] . Stefano Sottili is again exonerated on May 17 following the internal defeat against Brescia; Stefano Bettinelli, former assistant of Giuseppe Sannino and then Technician of spring takes over from him [9] , flanked by Mario Belluzzo, formerly the first technician of the team after the 2004 re -foundation.

The team concludes the championship in 18th position and the stay in Serie B is played in the play-out against Novara. In the first leg, played on June 6th at Silvio Piola of Novara, Varese imposes himself 2-0 with a brace by Leonardo Pavoletti. The return, played on June 13 in Varese, ends 2-2 (with two braces on each side, respectively of González for the Piedmontese and Pavoletti for Varese) sanctions salvation for the red and white.

The first uniform is white, with a red cross that extends over the whole front; The profiles of the sleeves are red, white shorts with red borders, red numbering and white socks with red implications. The second uniform is red with white numbers and writings, profiles, collar and white straps and red socks with white implications. The third shirt is black, with a large red V on the chest, red profiles and black socks with red implications [ten] . Technical supplier is Zeus Sport, who begins the collaboration with the Bosina company this season [11] .

There are two shirt sponsors: the main one is Gold in euro (The network of sale of gold and precious used owned by President Nicola Laurenza), while the second sponsor is the real estate company R.Invest . On the back of the shirt, under the numbers, one of the title sponsor of the Serie B also appears: the NGM (this brand appears on all the jackets of all the teams of the cadet series). In 2014 the logo of another title sponsor of the cadet championship, the Came, also appears on shorts.

During some extra-championship friendlies and cups, the team took the field with a clear orange-colored suit and shorts) [twelfth] .
