Accompanied by Sadpin, an IOP to whom he saved his life, by freeing him from the grip of Rubilax, a shushu (demon often sealed in an object) of which Sadpin is the goalkeeper, and Ruel Stroud, an old friend of hunter Bonuses of his Papa Alibert, Yugo goes to the prohibited forest in search of a way to release the inhabitants of his village, covered with leaves by polters. Along the way, he meets Amalia, a Princess Sadida on the run and his bodyguard, Evangelyne. Our adventurers must find the soft oak, a magic tree that controls the monsters. He was injured by Nox, an evil being who collects the energy of the world (Wakfu) for a mysterious reason. Fortunately, the soft oak is healed by Amalia, which frees the villagers. Coming back to the village, the group meets Nox, which curses Alibert before disappearing. During the altercation, a message from Grougaloragran worn by Az teaches Yugo that Alibert is not his biological father, and that he must go to the island of Oma to know his real family. The whole team therefore goes on an adventure to discover the origins of Yugo.

The fight between the Dragon Grougaloragran and Nox is raging. Lost in the ice of the Far North, Yugo and his friends are waiting for the end of this ultimate fight, the stomach tension … It is the world of the twelve that is at stake! From a giant portal created by teegux and Noxines Nox had arisen with its giant clock to face Grougaloragran. He first fights it with his Noxines then with his 3 creatures: Maramas, Frisco and Tartuffo. However, the dragon did not want Yugo and his friends to fight with him because they were likely to stay there, and can only teleport them in the ice of the Far North. Unfortunately, Grougaloragran is not powerful enough and is defeated, before perishing under the blows of Nox, he can return to his Dofus (the egg in which the dragons and their Eliatropes brothers are reincarnated) in order to be reborn and especially Deprive Nox of his Wakfu.

But this action gives Nox another direction for its goal: to invade the Sadida kingdom to steal the wakfu of the tree of life that resides there.

Nox and his troops set foot on the island. The Xélor attacks without further delay in the goal of his crusade: the wakfu contained in the tree of life. But the heart of the Sadida kingdom is protected by the gigantic vegetable wall of protective trees. In addition, the “brotherhood of tofu” is almost complete … The battle is raging bringing into games the lives of each taking part in combat. The Dofus brotherhood confronts the creatures of Nox: Maramas, Frisco, Tartoffo and Héherbos and succeed in destroying them all (Maramas is defeated by Yugo and Adamaï but inadvertently destroyed by another Nox monster).

But one of Nox’s monsters (Le Razor-Time) kills Sadpin under the eyes of Evangelyne.

Detailed summary

The siege did not hold and the final battle to protect the tree of life began. Our heroes have a last asset: Yugo and his brother Adamaï entered the clock without the knowledge of Nox with the mad hope of seizing the Eliacube, the source of the power of the Xélor. Everything rests on their shoulders now … taken from rage by the death of Pinpin, Yugo faces Nox but is also defeated. This goes back in time with all the energy accumulated, thinking of going back 200 years and saving his family, but the accumulated wakfu allows him to go back only 20 minutes (just before the death of the tree of life, But after the death of Sadpin), this situation breaks all the dreams of Nox and he sheds a tear so much he feels guilty of everything.
Just before the Sadida kingdom intended to make him pay his crimes, Yugo intervenes seeing that Nox is no longer dangerous and asks to leave him alone.

Nox thanks Yugo and teleports one last time following this, Nox dies, because without the Eliacube emptied of Wakfu, he cannot survive.

This episode tells the legend of the character of Goultard, different from that of the Manfra Dofus on certain points. We go back several thousand years back. Goultard is then only a child but already he has an incredible force. It all starts when he terrace a bull in the forest. The village chief, frightened by the reaction of the chief of the Taure, Mandhal, Banni Goultard and his Cabotine of the village. Later, Mandhal comes to meet Goultard who sends him waltz so high that he re-attacked on the village square in which Goultard just was banned. He is acclaimed and described as heroes. He quickly became the most powerful IOP on the planet. Many years have passed and the IOP has a woman and children. But now he receives a strange letter from a certain Katar who kidnapped his family. He goes to the meeting place indicated and realizes that Katar killed his family. He unleashes his anger on him to the point of killing him and then comes out of the body of the sacrigeur, a strange and dark creature. She who owned Katar’s body then took possession of that of Goultard. Since that day, Goultard has been the guardian of the corpses which he himself ripped off during all these years. He watches over the dead and whoever dares to challenge him regrets him sooner or later …
