Geikawa -gun (Sonchon Gun) is a county belonging to Heianbukicho, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Located in the southern part of the Heian Kita -do, it is located in the southeast, Kamejo City in Tohoku, Tenma -gun in the north, and Tohin -gun to the northwest. The south faces the Yellow Sea, and offshore there are islands such as Jinjima.

It was called Tsushu during the Koryo period. It was renamed Shizu in 1030, and a protection was set up, and was changed to Nogawa in 1413 during the Joseon Dynasty. He was promoted to Nogawa Prefecture in 1563.

In 1895, he became Shodokawa -gun due to the reorganization of administrative district paintings. In modern times, it was one of the central Christianity in Korea.

As of August 1945, it was composed of nine sides. In 1952, North Korea’s local administrative district paintings split Higashi -Rin -gun and reorganized Nogawa -gun (28 ri).
