In 2005 Hassan started the season as the second goalkeeper of the Elfsborg, debuting in Allsvenskan on June 20, 2005 in the second half of Elfsborg-Malmö FF (3-1). [first] Just during that game the owner Johan Waland was seriously injured, with the company that decided to hire a substitute, Håkan Svesson, who held the role of first goalkeeper for seven games. In the championship ending, however, it was Hassan who conquered the owner space.

At ten appearances in the 2005 Alsvenskan followed the three in the Alsvenskan 2007, for the rest Hassan remained sitting on the bench or played in the cup. Before the start of the 2009 season, the owner Waland was sold, but the arrivals of the Australian goalkeeper Ante Čović and the Swedish Joakim Wulff led Hassan to want to leave the Elfsborg. [2]

On 9 July 2009 his annual loan to the Dane of Alborg was made official, without however being able to play championship games, always remaining reserve of Karim Zaza. [3]

In summer 2010 he returned to Sweden to land on IFK Norrköping in the second series. He made his debut with the new shirt on August 27, 2010, due to the disqualification of the owner Niklas Westberg. The team was promoted to Allsvenskan, and Hassan was hired definitively with a three -year contract. [4] After a couple of seasons in which he collected a total of 30 championship appearances, he lost his place as a starter during the 2012 Allsvenskan in favor of the young David Mitov Nilsson.

Before the start of the 2013 season, he resolved the contract with IFK Norrköping and returned to the Elfsborg at three and a half years later. [5] During this parenthesis he played the role of second goalkeeper behind Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard until August 2016, when he moved to the Örgryte in Superettan with a short contract until the end of the season.
