The GP IIB\/IIIA is a transmembrane protein receptor capable of tieing the circulating fibrinogen or the factor of Von Willebrand [4] ; For this reason, once exposed on the platelet membrane, it allows platelet aggregation. The binding of the anti -corpo to the GP IIB\/IIIA takes place through steric dimensions or conformational change and instead leads to the inhibition of the platelet aggregation. Abciximab finds an indication only as adjuvant therapy during the intervention of coronary angioplasty (PCI) with stent positioning, together with the administration of aspirin and heparin, for the prevention of any ischemic\/infartual complications of thrombotic origin that may arise during the procedure [first] .
