(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});after-content-x4The group, composed of Abdel Majeed Asslan, Mhanna Salim Al-Muayed and Ahmed Al-Abras, and led by the sixteen year old Samir Kuntar, used a small 55 HP boat to travel from shooting, in Lebanon, in Nahariya, Israel. During the attack they killed three Israelis, including a father and two of his young children. Another child was accidentally suffocated in an attempt to hide it from the attackers. Kuntar and Al-Abras were captured, judged guilty of murder by an Israeli court and sentenced to various life sentences. Both Kuntar and Al-Abras were later released in prisoners’ exchange agreements conducted between Israel and Lebanese militant organizations: Al-Abras in 1985 and Kuntar in 2008. [first] The group was led by Samir Kuntar (born in 1962) and included Abdel Majeed Asslan (born in 1955), Mhanna Salim al-Muayed (born in 1960) and Ahmed Alabras (born in 1949), all PLF members under the guidance of Abu Abbas. The group started from the shooting coast, in the southern Lebanon, using a 55 horsepower motorized dinghy with a maximum speed of 88 km\/h. Their goal was to attack Nahariya, 10 kilometers from the Lebanese border. Around midnight they arrived in Nahariya. Uccisione di eliyahu shahar [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ] After arriving on Nahariya beach, the group followed the instructions given to Beirut – which included finding a police officer and killing him. [2] They knocked on the door of a private house and called in Arabic through the intercom, frightening the residents and inducing them to call the police. [2] Then, they killed the police officer Eliyahu Shahar. According to the reconstruction of the accident of Israeli security services, Shahar was killed after having come down from his vehicle and shot two warning shots in the air. Kuntar’s group replied with a massive burst of firearms. [2] Samir Kuntar boasted that he had shot 30 bullets in this accident on his own. [2] Raid in condominium and kidnapping [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ] The group entered a condominium at 61 by JaboSky Street by planning to kidnap two or three people and bring them back to Lebanon. One of the men of the FLP, Abdel Majeed Asslan, broke into the Charles Shapiro apartment, 34 years old, recent immigrant from South Africa, after the doors of his apartment had been shot. Shapiro, who was armed with a 22 -caliber magazine, killed Asslan. [2] [3] Subsequently, the Kuntar group met Moshe Sasson, a resident who was trying to reach the anti -aircraft refuge of the building bringing his two young daughters with him. Kuntar pushed Sasson and slammed a gun in the back of the skull. However, Sasson escaped when the corridor lights suddenly moved on and hid under a parked car. [4] [5] The three remaining militants then broke into the Haran family apartment. They took the 31 -year -old Danny Haran together with his four -year -old daughter, Einat. The mother, Smadar Haran, managed to hide in a Vespaio above the bedroom with her two -year -old daughter and a neighbor, Sasson’s wife. [4] [5] Shooting on the beach [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ] According to eye witnesses and forensic relationships, Kuntar shot Danny at close range in the back, in front of her daughter, and then killed the girl Einat, slamming her skull against the rocks with the football of her rifle. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});after-content-x4The Kuntar group then brought Danny and Einat to the beach, where a shooting began with the Israeli policemen and a team that occurred by soldiers of the Sayeret Golani special forces. According to the eyewitnesses, when the Kuntar group discovered that the rubber boat in which they arrived had been deactivated by shots of firearm, Kuntar shot Danny at close range in the back, in front of her daughter, and drowned him in the sea to secure himself that he died. [first] [2] Subsequently, according to the forensic tests and the testimony to the court of eye witnesses, Kuntar killed the girl by breaking her skull against the rocks with the football of her rifle. [first] [2] Smadar has accidentally suffocated Yael to death while trying to calm his whining, who would reveal their hiding place. [6] [7] A second militant, Mhanna Salim al-Muayed, was killed in the shooting on the beach. [2] Kuntar and the fourth member of the group, Ahmed Assad Abras, were captured. Victims [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ] The four Israeli victims of the attack were: L’agente di polizia eliyahu shahar (24 anni); [first] Danny Haran (32 years old); [first] Einat Haran, Danny’s 4 -year -old daughter; [first] Danny’s other daughter, Yael, two years old, who was accidentally suffocated by her mother, who was trying to keep the girl quiet as they hid from the terrorists. [first] The day after the attack, the Cannoniere of the Israeli Navy bombed Nahr Al-Roved, a Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut described by an Israeli military spokesman as one of the main bases of the FLP. The bombing lasted an hour and, according to what was reported, three civilians were killed. [8] On December 19, 2015, the attacker Kuntar, who had been freed in 2008 in an exchange of prisoners between Israel and Hezbollah (in Lebanon Kuntar was considered by many to be a national hero), was killed by an explosion that destroyed a residential building six floors in Jaramana, on the outskirts of Damascus. [9] [ten] Hezbollah and the Syrian Arab press agency reported that the building had been destroyed by an Air-Superficie missile launched by the Israeli Air Force.
