Joined Hiroshima Carp in 1965 after via Iizuka Commercial High School to Sanmon Tekko, a professional baseball baseball. [first] 。 Retired in 1971.

After retirement, he ran a yakiniku restaurant in Fukuoka.

On May 16, 2019, he died at a hospital in Iizuka City due to aspiration pneumonia due to Parkinson’s disease [2] 。 73 years old.
