Battlefield Vietnam It is a first -person shooter belonging to the saga Battlefield by Digital Illusion Creative Entertainment and Electronic Arts, published in 2004 for Windows. The setting is that of the Vietnam War, fought between 1964 and 1975. In the game there are two opposing factions: the United States and the Vietnamese army.

The improvements made range from a new graphic engine (which allows the detailed reproduction of the vegetation) to the use of the vehicles (introduced the helicopters and the possibility of shooting from moving means).

The game gives the player the opportunity to use a variety of weapons used during the war. Weapons range from Car-15 to AK-47 to earth mines that can disable a tank. There are also several additions, such as the possibility of changing the vehicle radio station to hear the music of the period. Players can also replace the music of the soundtrack with their MP3 music in the “My Music” folder in the main folder, reverging music by mistake when deleting the files. Another notable ability and the possibility of fire from the sides of the passenger from the vehicles, instead of remaining without weapons. Another novelty, perhaps the most useful, is the 3D map map, which can be activated by the player, showing him the representations of icons of friendly units and control points.
