Charlie Thomas Cox [first] (London, 15 December 1982) is a British actor, mainly known for the role of Matt Murdock / Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Born in London, COX grew up in the East Sussex and is the last of the five children of Trisha and Andrew Cox, a publisher. In 2019 he took part in the cast of Betrayal , together with Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton. The theatrical work is staged at the Pinter Theater in London for 12 weeks from March to June. In August of the same year, COX makes its debut with Broadway always with Betrayal , staged at Bernard B. Jacobs Theater in New York for 17 weeks.

Since 2021 he has resumed the role of Matt Murdock in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home , released in the same year and in the 2022 miniseries She-Hulk: Attorney at Law .
