Edward James Olmos (Los Angeles, February 24, 1947) is an American actor and director.

Also known with the nickname of Tomorrow , is the son of parents of Mexican origins. [first] He married three times: first from 1971 to 1992 with Kaija Keel from whom he had two children, Mico (1972) and Bodie (1975); Then in 1994 he married the actress Lorraine Bracco; They separated in 1997 and divorced in 2002, the year in which Edward remarried with the actress Lymari Nadal.

In the late sixties Olmos began to work in the musicals, appearing in several small productions, reaching the great success in the role of “El Pachuco” in the work Zoo Suit , representation of the revolts put in place during the Second World War in South California by the Americo-Messicans against the police. The show went to Broadway and Olmos received a Tony nomination.

At the beginning of the eighties he obtained important parts in the films Wolfen, the immortal beast (1981) and Blade Runner by Ridley Scott (1982).
