Enid Eulalie Bennett (York, 15 July 1893 – Malibù, 14 May 1969) was an Australian actress who emigrated to the United States, going to work in Hollywood.

He married twice: the first with Fred Niblo, the second with Sidney Franklin. Both husbands were two listed directors.

Born in Australia – with two sisters, Catherine and Marjorie too actresses – began his career in the theater in Sydney. Reached a certain fame, he decided to go to the conquest of Broadway but, this time, without success. He took a long time before getting a writing. Finally, he found work in the comedy Cock of the Walk . Here, it was noticed by the film producer Thomas H. Ince who brought it to Hollywood, putting it under contract [first] .

The wedding with Fred Niblo was celebrated on March 2, 1918. Three children, Louis, Peter and Judith were born from that union. The director died on 11 November 1948, leaving her widow. On June 20, 1963, Enid Bennett remarried with Sidney Franklin. The marriage lasted until the death of the actress on May 14, 1969 [first] .

She was buried at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale [2] .
