In the 1931-1932 season Legnano returns to have a president; Ernesto Castiglioni is elected at the top of the Lilla company. The goal of the new management is that settles a team suitable for playing a good Serie B championship without aspiring to promotion in the top flight. On the transfer market front, some of the best players for budget issues are sold. In particular, they leave the Small The defender Antonio Perduca, the midfielder Giuseppe Bigogno and the striker Giorgio Cidri, while the midfielder Mirko Gruden and defender Guido Duo arrived at Legnano. On the Lilla Barbasino bench is replaced by the Hungarian Otto Krappan.
