The Football Club Municipal Danube Galați , was a Romanian football club based in the city of Galați. It is the result of a merger in 1982 among the clubs of F.C.M. Galati – Club founded in 1932 and passed through different redenomination – and the CSU Galati .

The club saw the light in 1932 as a sports club of the Romanian railway company Căile Firate Române assuming the name of Gloria cf. Galați. In the early years the club played only at the regional level. In 1936 he participated in the third division championship, the Divice C. After the immediate promotion to the divice B, in 1939 he reached the first promotion in the top flight, the difference A. In the mid -sixties the club resumed the name of Gloria CFR Galati And in 1966 he centrified access to Divice C. After four years of swinging performances, the merger with the fellow citizens of the Oțelul Galați took place.
