A frame of the film

PORKY PIG is the competitor of a radio prize game entitled Esatto o aaaahhhhhhh !! (Macabra parody of the perham show Truth or Consequences ) in which the goal is to answer almost impossible or absurdly dark questions asked by Daffy Duck. When Porky does not respond correctly or in time, he must “pay the penalty”, for example ending up on a circular saw or being skipped in the air with dynamite while trying to answer the next question. The prizes are also similar, since winning the Rocca di Gibraltar or the water from the Niagara waterfalls causes all this to be thrown on him during the program. In the end Daffy challenges Porky to a final question for a big prize. Porky must guess who a mysterious cinema star is, having as its only clue to recording her tooth washing on Wednesday. Porky cannot respond correctly and Daffy invites him to the locker of the star to meet her, and then reveal that it is a gorilla that proceeds to brutally massacre Porky. The piglet comes out and advances threateningly towards Daffy, who surrenders and delivers the jackpot (26 million and three cents). PORKY immediately contacts the president of the radio company and buys it for the exact amount of the prize. Since he is now his boss, Porky exchanges with a role with Daffy and makes him pass all the harassment he suffered.

The short arrived in Italy directly on television in the seventies. The dubbing, performed by the C.V.D., presents some inaccuracies in the adaptation (for example, that bought by Porky is called a television company). A new dubbing was performed for the release in VHS in 1999 by Royfilm, under the direction of Renzo Stacchi on (more correct) dialogues of Giorgio Tausani. However, the first dubbing was included in the DVD. An international column has not been recorded, in both cases the music present during the dialogues was replaced.
