The Sammarinese championship , also known in the past as Amateur championship ^[first] , is the only level of the San Marino football championship.

Established in 1985, it is organized since the first edition by the Sammarinese Federation Gioco Calcio. Located in the 55th and last place of the UEFA ranking for national championships, the tournament gives the winning team the right to participation in the first preliminary round of UEFA Champions League and the second classified in the first preliminary round of UEFA Europa Conference League.
