In 1987, he joined the Grand Prix as a spokeswoman for the Honda F1 team, which is participating in the second season.

Since 1998, he has become a SAE staff, and has been involved in books issued by the association, self -made racing competitions for students, and Formula SAE (in Japan as the All Japan Student Formula Tournament).

Since 2003, he has appeared as a commentator from a studio in Tokyo on the F1 Grand Prix broadcast of Fuji TV 721 (now Fuji TV TWO). Taking advantage of his career, he has a deep knowledge of the technical and safety of F1, and the history of staff and teams.

Prior to that, he appeared in the 2001 Blazilian GP qualifying (CS), and appeared in the studio while the video from the site was not reached.

In November 2008, he made a guest appearance at the “Sumin F1 Illustration Exhibition at Chion -in” held by Illustrator Hiroshi Tetsui, a friendly illustrator, because he was unknown about other things other than motor sports. After the end of the F1 Brazil GP live broadcast, he went directly to Kyoto from the studio in Odaiba, Tokyo, and gave a lecture on Buddhism and motor sports.

In 2015, he became a super formula “official commentator” [first]

I understand not only English but also Italian.

In addition to F1, he is familiar with indie cars and railways, but he is not a railway fan.

On February 24, 2022, we opened the Ogushige Channel on YouTube.
