Takarazuka Film Festival (Tanara -kai, English: Takarazuka Film Festival ) Is a civil film festival held every fall in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture. The venue is Takarazuka Cine Pipia, the only movie theater in Takarazuka City.

Once in Takarazuka City, there were Takarazuka Movie Works, and at its peak had seven cinemas, so Takarazuka City was also called “movie town”. [first] 。 There was no movie theater for 30 years since 1969 (Showa 44), but a movement to establish a movie theater was held led by “Takarazuka Cineclab”, etc., and 1999 (1999). Takarazuka Cine Pipia opened with a public privately owned method. [2] 。

In 2000 (Heisei 12), the Takarazuka Film Festival Executive Committee was formed mainly on “Sumireza” (renamed Takarazuka Cineclab), and in November of the same year, Cine Pipia was the main venue. The Takarazuka Film Festival was held [3] 。

It is held every November in the form of an executive committee. There are many talks such as directors, staff, and performers involved in these works, centered on works created at Takarazuka Film Manufacturing, which once existed in Takarazuka.

Since 2012 (2012), we have been inviting guests living in Takarazuka regularly, holding small -scale events such as talk salons, enriching the color of more community -based film festivals. [4]

Executive Committee [ edit ]

The executive committee, the organizer of the event, is composed of Takarazuka citizens, movie fans, related to the Takarazuka Movie Works, and cultural people based in Hanshin. The chairman is critic Kawachi Kawachi. The vice -chairman is manga critic Tomohiko Murakami, and the Cine Nouveau/Cine Pipia, the manager of the Cine Pipia, and others.
