The CIMB Classic and WGC-HSBC Champions have each been moved back one week from 2014. The Sanderson Farms Championship is now an alternate event to the WGC-HSBC Champions, instead of being an alternate to The Open Championship as in recent years. The new Barbasol Championship was an alternate event to The Open Championship. It also marked the first time the PGA Tour hosted an event in Alabama in 25 years, when the state hosted the PGA Championship. The WGC-Cadillac Match Play was moved back two and a half months to May, and has relocated back to California, its primary home from 1999 to 2006.Source:[1]Schedule[edit]The following table lists official events during the 2014–15 season.[2][3]DateTournamentLocationPurse(US$)Winner[a]OWGRpointsOthertours[b]NotesOct 12Frys.com OpenCalifornia6,000,000 Bae Sang-moon (2)36Oct 19Shriners Hospitals for Children OpenNevada6,200,000 Ben Martin (1)36Oct 26McGladrey ClassicGeorgia5,600,000 Robert Streb (1)32Nov 2CIMB ClassicMalaysia7,000,000 Ryan Moore (4)42ASALimited-field eventNov 9WGC-HSBC ChampionsChina8,500,000 Bubba Watson (7)68World Golf ChampionshipNov 9Sanderson Farms ChampionshipMississippi4,000,000 Nick Taylor (1)24Alternate eventNov 16OHL Classic at MayakobaMexico6,100,000 Charley Hoffman (3)24Jan 12Hyundai Tournament of ChampionsHawaii5,700,000 Patrick Reed (4)46Winners-only eventJan 18Sony Open in HawaiiHawaii5,600,000 Jimmy Walker (4)46Jan 25Humana ChallengeCalifornia5,700,000 Bill Haas (6)46Pro-AmFeb 1Waste Management Phoenix OpenArizona6,300,000 Brooks Koepka (1)54Feb 8Farmers Insurance OpenCalifornia6,300,000 Jason Day (3)52Feb 15AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-AmCalifornia6,800,000 Brandt Snedeker (7)46Pro-AmFeb 22Northern Trust OpenCalifornia6,700,000 James Hahn (1)54Mar 2The Honda ClassicFlorida6,100,000 Pádraig Harrington (6)60Mar 8WGC-Cadillac ChampionshipFlorida9,250,000 Dustin Johnson (9)76World Golf ChampionshipMar 8Puerto Rico OpenPuerto Rico3,000,000 Alex Čejka (1)24Alternate eventMar 15Valspar ChampionshipFlorida5,900,000 Jordan Spieth (2)52Mar 22Arnold Palmer InvitationalFlorida6,300,000 Matt Every (2)60InvitationalMar 29Valero Texas OpenTexas6,200,000 Jimmy Walker (5)52Apr 5Shell Houston OpenTexas6,600,000 J.
