He stated that he “wanted to discuss the stories of people, not just women, who were starting anew after coming out of relationships. This story was too much to spin in two hours so [he] opted for a drama format.”[2]The early working title of the series is Yeouido Scandal (여의도 스캔들) . It was originally planned to airon cable channel tvN in 2017 following A Korean Odyssey, however, it did not push through.[21]The first script reading took place on March 13, 2019 in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea.[22]On July 12, 2019, actor Oh Seung-yoon, who had been cast for the role of Lee Hyo-bong,[23] was removed from the drama after being booked for aiding and abetting drunk driving.[24] As the crew needed to reshoot all his scenes from episode 1 to 14, the premiere was delayed by two weeks, from July 26 to August 9.[25][24] On July 19, it was confirmed that Oh Seung-yoon had been replaced by Yoon Ji-on.[10]Original soundtrack[edit]Part 1[edit]Released on August 10, 2019 (2019-08-10)[26]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Consolation” (위로)HenHenKwon Jin-ah3:162.“Consolation” (Inst.) Hen 3:16Total length:6:32Part 2[edit]Released on August 17, 2019 (2019-08-17)[27]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Undecided” (작가미정)Shin On-yuShin On-yuShin In-ryu3:492.“Undecided” (Inst.) Shin On-yu 3:49Total length:7:38Part 3[edit]Released on August 23, 2019 (2019-08-23)[28]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Your Shampoo Scent In The Flowers” (흔들리는 꽃들 속에서 네 샴푸향이 느껴진거야)Jang Beom-juneJang Beom-juneJang Beom-june2:482.“Your Shampoo Scent In The Flowers” (Inst.) Jang Beom-june 2:48Total length:5:36Part 4[edit]Released on August 31, 2019 (2019-08-31)[29]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Fake” (거짓말이네)Lundi BluesYoo Seung-woo3:102.“Fake” (Inst.) Lundi Blues 3:10Total length:6:20Part 5[edit]Released on September 7, 2019 (2019-09-07)[30]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Moonlight”Kim Cho-yeonNoddedHa Hyun-sang3:282.“Moonlight” (Inst.) Nodded 3:28Total length:6:56Part 6[edit]Released on September 14, 2019 (2019-09-14)[31]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Far From Melo”ZEEBOMBZEEBOMBZEEBOMB4:292.“Far From Melo” (Inst.) ZEEBOMB 4:29Total length:8:58Part 7[edit]Released on September 21, 2019 (2019-09-21)[32]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Your Shampoo Scent In The Flowers” (Actors Ver.)Jang Beom-juneJang Beom-june3:212.“Your Shampoo Scent In The Flowers” (Ballad Ver.)Jang Beom-juneJang Beom-june4:46Total length:8:07Part 8[edit]Released on September 28, 2019 (2019-09-28)[33]TitleLyricsMusicArtist1.“Moonlight” (Cello Ver.) NoddedHong Jin-ho3:302.“Slow Step”Lee Ha-jinMILO3:493.“Smells”MILONam Young-joo3:034.“Fake” (Folk Ver.)Lundi BluesLundi Blues3:12Total length:13:34Ratings[edit]Be Melodramatic : South Korea viewers per episode (thousands)SeasonEpisode numberAverage123456789101112131415161N/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/AN/A425N/ASource: Audience measurement performed nationwide by Nielsen Media Research.[34]Average TV viewership ratingsEp.Original broadcast dateTitleAGB Nielsen(nationwide)[35]1August 9, 2019I’m Not Going to Like Something Like Love(나는 사랑 같은 거 안 해)1.790%2August 10, 2019If He’s a Director, Shouldn’t He Have a Girlfriend?
