Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell\u2013cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. The protein encoded by this gene may be involved in cell adhesion during neurodegeneration.[6]See also[edit]References[edit]^ a b c GRCh38: Ensembl release 89: ENSG00000151651 – Ensembl, May 2017^ a b c GRCm38: Ensembl release 89: ENSMUSG00000025473 – Ensembl, May 2017^ “Human PubMed Reference:”.
