As of 2019 he is retired and living in Widnes, Cheshire.Genealogical information[edit]Aspey is the grandson of Sam Aspey, the rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s and 1910s for Widnes, and the great-nephew of Sam Aspey’s brothers.
