The album was released on varying dates in March 2013, starting on the 13th in Japan and concluding on the 26th in the US. The Nexus is a development of the sound and ideas Amaranthe introduced on their first record. The band stated that they felt “the contrasts are greater, the mix and blends of genres is more controversial, and more creative freedoms were taken in this album.”[6] It was the last album with harsh vocalist Andy Solveström.Table of ContentsTrack listing[edit]Personnel[edit]Amaranthe[edit]Production[edit]Miscellaneous[edit]Scheduled release history[14][edit]References[edit]Track listing[edit]All lyrics are written by Jake E and Olof Mörck, except where noted; all music is composed by Mörck, Jake E and Elize Ryd, except where noted. The Nexus – Standard editionTitle1.“Afterlife”3:142.“Invincible”3:113.“The Nexus”3:164.“Theory of Everything”3:345.“Stardust”3:086.“Burn with Me”4:007.“Mechanical Illusion”4:018.“Razorblade”3:059.“Future on Hold”3:1710.“Electroheart”3:4811.“Transhuman”3:5512.“Infinity”3:05Total length:41:34The Nexus – Japanese edition (bonus tracks)TitleLyricsMusic13.“Burn with Me” (acoustic) 3:5314.“Hunger” (acoustic)Jake EMörckAndy SolveströmMörckJake ERydSolveström3:21Total length:48:48The Nexus – Digisleeve edition (bonus tracks)TitleMusic13.“Afterlife” (acoustic) 3:1314.“Leave Everything Behind” (early version)3:18Total length:48:05The Nexus – iTunes Store edition (bonus track)TitleLyricsMusic13.“Hunger” (remix)MörckJake ERydSolveström3:17Total length:44:51The Nexus – Spotify edition (bonus tracks)TitleLyricsMusic13.“Amaranthine” (acoustic)3:0914.“Leave Everything Behind” (Power Rock acoustic version) 3:18Total length:48:01The Nexus – Japanese deluxe edition (bonus DVD)TitleDirector(s)1.“The Nexus” (music video)Patric Ullaeus4:282.“1.000.000 Lightyears” (live video)Johan Carlén4:093.“The Making of The Nexus“ 15:33Total length:24:10Personnel[edit]Amaranthe[edit]Production[edit]Jacob Hansen – production, engineer, mixing, masteringOlof Mörck – productionJake E – productionMiscellaneous[edit]Gustavo Sazes – cover art, booklet designLeticia Dumas – additional artwork photosJohan Carlén – band photosScheduled release history[14][edit]CountryDateJapan13 March 2013Sweden20 March 2013Finland22 March 2013Germany22 March 2013UK25 March 2013United States26 March 2013References[edit]^ “Amaranthe – The Nexus review”.
