Andreas Dressel, SPD parliamentary group leader in Hamburg, had been considered by many as obvious successor of Scholz,[2] but declined for personal reasons.[3]As one of the state’s representatives at the Bundesrat, Tschentscher is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and on the Committee on European Affairs. He is also a member of the German-Polish Friendship Group set up in cooperation with the Senate of Poland. During his first year as mayor, he served as Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Germany for Cultural Affairs under the Treaty on Franco-German Cooperation.In the negotiations to form a so-called traffic light coalition of the SPD, the Green Party and the Free Democratic Party (FDP) following the 2021 federal elections, Tschentscher was part of his party’s delegation in the working group on economic affairs, co-chaired by Carsten Schneider, Cem Özdemir and Michael Theurer.[4]Tschentscher was nominated by his party as delegate to the Federal Convention for the purpose of electing the President of Germany in 2022.[5]Other activities[edit]Corporate boards[edit]Non-profit organizations[edit]Business Forum of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Member of the Political Advisory Board (since 2020)[6]Stability Council, ex officio member[7]Haus Rissen, Member of the Board of Trustees[8]Deutsches Museum, Member of the Board of Trustees[9]References[edit]^ Vera Eckert and Olaf Brenner (April 2, 2017), Public owners of HSH Nordbank say pleased with first bidding round Reuters.^ a b Peter Tschentscher soll Nachfolger von Olaf Scholz in Hamburg werden, Der Spiegel^ Jana Werner (March 11, 2018), Neuer Bürgermeister „Ich habe eine eigene Amtsführung“ Die Welt.^ Ampel-Koalition: Das sind die Verhandlungsteams von SPD, Grünen und FDP Deutschlandfunk, October 27, 2021.^ Bürgerschaft: Stimmberechtigte für Bundespräsidentenwahl gewählt Norddeutscher Rundfunk, 15 December 2021.^ Bernd Westphal und Anke Rehlinger koordinieren neu konstituierten Politischen Beirat des SPD-Wirtschaftsforums Business Forum of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, press release of July 1, 2020.^ Chair and Members Archived 2017-07-09 at the Wayback Machine Stability Council.^ Board of Trustees Haus Rissen.^ Board of TrusteesDeutsches Museum.External links[edit]Links to related articles (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});after-content-x4"},{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
@id":"https://wiki.edu.vn/en/wiki41/#breadcrumbitem
Enzyklopädie"}},{"@type":"ListItem
@id":"https://wiki.edu.vn/en/wiki41/peter-tschentscher-wikipedia/#breadcrumbitem
Peter Tschentscher – Wikipedia"}}]}]
