In 1972 St. Joseph’s College was divided, with its College of Arts and Sciences and its College of Commerce becoming independent, although both remain under the administration of the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society. St Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC) and St Joseph’s College of Business Administration (SJCBA)[1] moved to 163, Brigade Road, and St Joseph’s Evening College became an independent college.[citation needed]In 1996 SJCBA started offering two-year, full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with recognition from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt Of India.
