This was cancelled six months after the war.War Highway 7[edit]War Highway 7 was designated on October 31, 1942, from US\u00a083 7 miles (11\u00a0km) south of Abilene west 5.2 miles (8.4\u00a0km) to the east boundary of Camp Barkeley. This was cancelled six months after the war, and was redesignated as FM\u00a0707 on December 10, 1946.War Highway 8[edit]War Highway 8 was designated on October 31, 1942, from US\u00a081, 4.5 miles (7.2\u00a0km) northeast of Waco northeast 1.5 miles (2.4\u00a0km) to the Basic Training School. This was cancelled six months after the war, and is now FM\u00a02417.War Highway 9[edit]War Highway 9 was designated on October 31, 1942, from SH\u00a0136 east to the west boundary of the Pan-Tex Ordnance Plant, and then south to US\u00a060, a total distance of 6.7 miles (10.8\u00a0km). This was redesignated as FM\u00a0683 on April 9, 1946,[4] part of which is now FM\u00a0245.[5]War Highway 10[edit]War Highway 10 was designated on October 31, 1942, from SH\u00a035 at the Jackson\u2013Matagorda county line southward 5.3 miles (8.5\u00a0km) to Well Point. War Highway 10 served as access to Camp Hulen. This was cancelled six months after the war, and is now FM\u00a03280.War Highway 11[edit]War Highway 11 was designated on November 24, 1942, from US\u00a054 to the New Mexico state line. War Highway 11 served as access to Fort Bliss.[6][2] This was cancelled six months after the war, and is now FM\u00a03255.War Highway 12[edit]War Highway 12 was designated on November 24, 1942, from US\u00a075 west 5.4 miles (8.7\u00a0km) to Camp Perrin. This was redesignated as FM\u00a0691 on April 16, 1946.[7]War Highway 13[edit]War Highway 13 was designated on December 21, 1942, from SH\u00a0107 at Cantu, west and north 7.2 miles (11.6\u00a0km) to Moore Field.[8] This was redesignated as FM\u00a0681 on April 16, 1946.[7][9]War Highway 14[edit]War Highway 14 was designated on December 21, 1942, from US\u00a080 west of Big Spring south 0.5 miles (0.80\u00a0km) to the north boundary of the Air Force Training School area. This was redesignated as FM\u00a0700 on November 8, 1946.[10][11]War Highway 15[edit]War Highway 15 was designated on February 11, 1943, from the east entrance of Camp Hood east via Rancier Avenue to 8th Street (later FM\u00a0439).[12] This was cancelled six months after the war, and is now part of FM\u00a0439.War Highway 16[edit]War Highway 16 was designated on March 8, 1943, from US\u00a083 south of Childress west 2.3 miles (3.7\u00a0km) to the Air Force Bombardier School.[13] On March 18, 1947, War Highway 16 was redesignated as Spur\u00a0184, which became part of FM\u00a0164 on October 9, 1973.War Highway 17[edit]War Highway 17 was designated on April 15, 1943, from US\u00a0271 near Clink Scales to SH\u00a031 near Walton’s Store.[14] On September 9, 1947, War Highway 17 was redesignated as FM\u00a0757.[15]War Highway 18[edit]War Highway 18 was designated on June 10, 1943, from US\u00a070\/US\u00a0287 in Wichita Falls 3.1 miles (5.0\u00a0km) to US\u00a0277 (now SH\u00a0240) in Sheppard Field.[16] This was cancelled six months after the war, and is now Spur\u00a0325.War Highway 19[edit]War Highway 19 was designated on August 3, 1943, from SH\u00a087 2 miles (3.2\u00a0km) southwest of Orange west 5.2 miles (8.4\u00a0km) to Orangefield.[17] This was cancelled on June 11, 1945, and was redesignated as FM\u00a0409, which was replaced by FM\u00a0105 on January 29, 1953, when FM\u00a0105 was extended (FM\u00a0105 and FM\u00a0409 were not end to end before this, the realignment of FM\u00a0105 to be straight was later).War Highway 20[edit]War Highway 20 was designated on August 3, 1943, from SH\u00a034 south of Greenville east to Majors Basic Field.
