Nhà Medici

Nhà Medici (/ˈmɛdᵻtʃi/ MED-i-chee; Italian pronunciation: [ˈmɛːditʃi]) khởi đầu là một gia đình ngân hàng, tiếp đó trở thành một đế quốc chính trị và sau này là triều đại bắt đầu thống trị dưới quyền điều khiển của Cosimo de' Medici trong nền Cộng hòa Florence trong nửa đầu của thế kỷ 15. Gia đình Medici có nguồn gốc ở khu vực Mugello của vùng quê Tuscan, dần dần phát triển cho đến khi họ thành lập Ngân hàng Medici.
