Tiếng Gael Scotland, hay tiếng Gael Scots, cũng được gọi là tiếng Gael (Gàidhlig Template:IPA-gd), là một ngôn ngữ Celt bản địa của Scotland. Đây là một thành viên của nhánh Goidel, nên tiếng Gael Scotland, như tiếng Ireland hiện đại và tiếng Manx, đã phát triển từ tiếng Ireland Trung đại, và do đó là một hậu duệ của tiếng Ireland Cổ.

Thống kế năm 2011 cho thấy tổng cộng 57.375 người (1,1% dân số Scotland trên ba tuổi) tại Scotland biết nói tiếng Gael, trong đó quần đảo Ngoại Hebrides chiếm phần đông lượng người nói. Lượng người nói giảm tại Scotland đi 1.275 người so với năm 2001. Tổng cộng 87.056 người vào năm 2011 có kỹ năng nào đó về tiếng Gael, số người năm 2001 là 93.282, giảm 6.226.[1][3] Mặc cho sự sụt giảm này, nổ lược phụ hồi đang tiếp diễn và số người nói dưới 20 tuổi đã tăng lên.[4]

Ngoài Scotland, một nhóm phương ngữ gọi chung là Gael Canada được sử dụng tại Canada Đại Tây Dương, chủ yếu ở Nova Scotia và Đảo Hoàng tử Edward. Theo tính toán năm 2011, có tổng cộng 7.195 người nói tiếng Gael tại Canada.[5] Chừng 2.320 người Canada xuất nhận rằng tiếng Gael là ngôn ngữ mẹ đẻ của họ, trong đó 300 người sống ở Nova Scotia (đa phần tại Cape Breton, Antigonish và Pictou) và Đảo Hoàng tử Edward.[6]
