Beginnings in Schleswig-Holstein and Bremen [ Edit | Edit the source text ]

The son of a Ugandian mother and a German father [first] moved to Schleswig-Holstein as a child, where he played in Melsdorf in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district for the local TSV and in Kiel for FC Kilia Kiel. In 2006 he moved to Delmenhorst in Lower Saxony at the gates of Bremen [2] And played for the youth teams of Werder Bremen.

For the 2014/15 season, Bockhorn, after outgrading the young teams, was integrated into the second team that played in the fourth -class regional league Nord. There he completed ten missions. He also played five times for the third team in the fifth-class Bremen league, with a goal scored. At the end of the season, the second team rose to the full-professional 3rd league, but Bockhorn left the Bremen.

Bockhorn in the Regionalliga West [ Edit | Edit the source text ]

He then moved to East Westphalia, where he joined SC Wiedbrück, playing in the regional league West, for the 2015/16 season. In Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Bockhorn was regularly used and moved with SC Wiedenbrück between the relegation battle and midfield. He scored his only competitive goals in the Westphalia Cup when he scored a goal in the first round in the 6-0 win at TuS Dielingen and in the second round in the 2-1 win at the SuS Bad Westernkotten.

After only one year, the 21-year-old switched to the second team of Borussia Dortmund for the 2016/17 season within the Regionalliga West. Bockhorn remained the same over long distances of the season, and it was only around the end of the season that he managed to fight for a regular place when he had played through in the last four point games of the season. In the 2017/18 season he was one of the regular players and played in 28 point games, scoring six goals. In the 2018/19 season, Bockhorn also kept its place in the right -back position. [2]

Via Huddersfield back to Germany [ Edit | Edit the source text ]

For the 2019/20 season he followed coach Jan Siewert to the English first division relegation Huddersfield Town. [3] There, Bockhorn only played a game in the EFL Cup. His contract was terminated in July 2020. [4]

Bockhorn returned to Germany and joined the second division club VfL Bochum. There he signed a contract running until June 30, 2021, [5] whose term was extended by one year in February 2021. [6] After the end of the contract, he was initially without a club.

On September 6, 2022, Bockhorn was hired by the second division club 1. FC Magdeburg. [7]
