  • Sasaki did not write drawings and pictures, but adopted a process to create a three -dimensional model to promote the design. In the design of Subaru 360, it was followed, initially preparing a design concept with a 1/5 clay model. Fuji Heavy Industries prepared a wooden type with a nail showing the minimum inner dimensions in the function, and a model was created by applying clay. [6]
  • Sasaki first learned of the name “Industrial Design” when he was invited to create an industrial design association from a junior of the Industrial Craftsman. After receiving the explanation of a junior, I agreed to participate because it was the same content as my previous work. At the time of the establishment of the Japan Industrial Designer Association, he was appointed the first president to say that “name alone may be”. [2]
