Plattkó suffered a head wound in the first final game in the 38th minute due to a collision with Cholín and could not continue playing. The trained striker Arocha then took over his place in the gate. After the wound was sewn with six stitches, Plattkó returned into the goal in the 49th minute with a strongly bandaged head. The Spanish poet Rafael Alberti, who followed the game in the stadium, then wrote the poem “Oda a Platko” in honor of the goalkeeper.
