The WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Was the half-heavy weight wrestling title of the US promotion WWF, which was awarded exclusively to male single wrestlers with a maximum weight of 97.5 kg (215 lbs). At the end of 1997, the WWF wanted to build its own light heavyweight division and introduced the championship. In 2001, X-PAC suffered an injury. The title was then discontinued and by the WCW Cruiserweight Championship replaced.
