ケンプ・パワーズ（Kemp Powers、1973年 – ）は、アメリカ合衆国の劇作家、映画脚本家、映画監督である。『One Night in Miami』や『スタートレック:ディスカバリー』を手がけたことで知られる。

キャリア[編集]

2012年の短編映画『This Day Today』の後、舞台『One Night in Miami』の脚本を執筆する[1][2][3]。2017年、パワーズは『スタートレック:ディスカバリー』で初回を含む第1シーズンの数話に参加した[4]。2018年、彼はピクサーのアニメ映画『ソウルフル・ワールド』の脚本をピート・ドクター、マイク・ジョーンズ（英語版）、ティナ・フェイと共同で執筆し、またドクターと共に監督も務める[5][6]。2019年7月、女優のレジーナ・キングの監督デビュー作としてパワーズの舞台『One Night in Miami』が映画化されることが発表された[7]。
